It's crazy to think that it's time to start a new semester. Winter break seemed so short yet... so long. We had like 3 weeks off but man it sure went fast. I loved my winter break though. After the fall semester ended most of my days were filled with work and spending time with my family back home.
The semester started yesterday and I already love my classes. Being a film major, I'm taking 2 film classes this semester, one of which is a class where I actually cut and process 16mm film. Ahhh... Just like the old days! We have a room where we have a bunch of analog style editing equipment, it seems like it will be an adventure!!

- I grew up in Warroad, MN which is a VERY small town 9 miles south of the Canadian border. I later moved to Thief River Falls, MN and attended high school there. This past year I have moved to Moorhead and am now a Dragon!! I am a sophomore and am a film production major with a minor in Women Studies. I have always been a performer and have always had a camera in hand or been in front of one. I love filmmaking and it is the perfect fit for me. The film studies depatment at MSUM is also the best around and I absolutely love it here. I am also a supporter of women's rights and been actively involved in Women Studies events on campus and in the community. The Fargo-Moorhead area is also a fantastic community. I'm extremely happy I am a part of MSUM and am excited what the next two years will bring!!
